These transmitters require a receiver. The recommended receiver to use is the VHF 2 Channel Crystal Controlled Receiver

Our VHF transmitters operate between 170 ~ 175 MHz and are crystal locked which means that there is no tuning required. Just switch on the dedicated receiver and listen. These transmitters are slightly more expensive than the FM transmitters but they are far more reliable; clarity is very good and gives greater range and life span.
