Lynn Hodgson is a brilliant military and espionage authority who resides in
Canada. He is co-author with Alan Paul of a whole series of books detailing
the famous Camp-X spy training school near Toronto - once used to train
budding agents for their dangerous work in WWII. He is a meticulous
researcher who has uncovered some remarkable facts about espionage
techniques.
The best-selling author of, Inside Camp-X, Lynn was a successful businessman
for thirty-five years while working for a large American corporation. Among
his achievements was the design and implementation of the first distributed,
integrated computer system called CSS, early in the nineteen-seventies,
which was to become the basis for most on-line computer systems used in
business today. Later, he was the Director of Business Logistics while
working for a subsidiary company in Quebec with a large project team under
his supervision.
He is a Director of the Scugog Historical Society, a volunteer at the Camp-X
museum in Oshawa and Chair of the Scugog Shores Historical Museum,
Director of the Kawartha Conservation Authority, Director of the Military Heritage
of Durham Region and past Director of the Scugog Township Heritage Committee.
Lynn has appeared in many documentaries including the hour long documentary
called Family Secrets which appeared on Global Television across Canada
and The True Intrepid which has been shown many times on History
Television.
On 7 March 2005, Lynn won the Lifetime Achievement Award for 2004. This
award is issued by the Ontario Heritage Foundation.
