The Hold Invader is a unique and unusual telephone surveillance device. The phone has been effectively turned into a super-sensitive room bug. Investigators can use this unit to achieve effective results when it is believed the other party is not alone at location of the call. The investigator asks a leading or provocative statement or question regarding the desired subject, and then asks the party to "hold" for a minute. The Hold Invader replicates the "call waiting" sound then the unit's "hold" switch is activated. The device's sophisticated amplification electronics have effectively turned their phone into a super-sensitive room bug. They may be conversing freely there, very likely about the topic you just "planted", having no idea that you are listening to every word. The other party can't hear as the devce turns off the microphone while engaged.
