Security Consultant/Intelligence Analyst

Now a senior security consultant with a major publishing house. Mr King is a retired New York City Police Department Detective from the Intelligence Division who was a senior member of the Terrorist Incident Protection Unit for Operation Hercules, the Republican National Convention Development Project, Liaison Officer to the United Nations and the Dignitary Protection Unit. Mr King was the instructor for the Specialized Protection Training Course given to members of the NYPD, as well as other law enforcement agencies from City, State, and Federal levels, including the military and private sector in dignitary protection. Previously, he worked in the NYPD's Organized Crime Control Bureau- Narcotics Division and was the Police Academy Firearms and Tactics Section firearms instructor. He was a member of the United States Navy and was a Master at Arms responsible for port security, ship boarding, naval air station security, criminal investigations, intelligence gathering, and firearms.
